Dani (she/her) is a University of Toronto graduate with a background in Psychology & Neuroscience and Spanish. She currently works in Toronto as a Behavioural Therapist, providing in-home support to children and teens with autism. She focuses on developing daily living skills, strengthening emotional regulation, and supporting functional, individualized goals in close collaboration with families.
She is a bilingual clinician with experience in both research and direct client care, and cares a lot about bringing a grounded and relational approach to her work. She is especially interested in the intersections of cognitive development, language acquisition, and emotional regulation, and how these processes can be uniquely shaped by neurodivergence and systemic forces that mold our lived experiences.
She is also particularly drawn to understanding how cognitive control and self-regulation unfold across childhood and adolescence, and is passionate about creating more types of spaces for connection, growth, and authentic self-exploration.
Dani’s experience spans clinical research, behavioural therapy, caregiving, and educational mentorship. She is committed to building systems of support that foster resilience, self-understanding, and meaningful engagement with the world.
